Power Tool Accessories (Bits, Blades, Drill & Saw Chucks, Hooks)

Power-tool accessories are consumables, so the real cost driver is steel grade and heat treatment, not the shape. Bit sets use S2 or Cr-Mo steel with torsion zones; HSS drill bits are sold as HSS-Co (M35) or solid carbide; TCT circular blades are priced by carbide tip grade, tooth count and whether the body is stress-relieved.

Questions buyers ask

What is the difference between HSS, M35 and carbide drill bits for sourcing?

HSS is the cheapest and suits wood and mild steel; M35 (HSS with 5% cobalt) is the standard choice for stainless steel and increases tool life several times; solid carbide is for CNC and hardened material at a multiple of the price. Buyers mixing grades in one container normally get the best landed cost per hole.

Do saw-blade factories relabel TCT blades with my brand?

Yes, body printing and laser marking are routine OEM changes at low cost, but tooth geometry, carbide grade and body flatness must be specified in the PO, since visually identical blades differ mainly in those three items.
